Foster Cat Chats

Inside Buddy Foster's World

Guest Post Thursday: Franny the Foster Cat

20151223_101602_resizedBecause I, Buddy Foster, was once a foster cat myself, I am so very happy to have another foster cat do the guest post this week.  Her name is Franny, and although she is very happy with her foster mommy she would like to have a permanent home like I have. The people at Central Paws in Grand Falls Windsor are working very hard to find her a home. Do you know of someone who would like this sweet kitty?

Hi. My name is Franny (and I know my name)!

I was rescued from a horrible life living on the streets and have been in foster care since January. I spent at least a year outside. I am not feral, just a little shy when I first meet people.  But once I get used to you I am friendly and cuddly.

The people at Central paws who rescued me have made sure that I am healthy. I am fl/felv negatived; I have been vaccinated against the cat flu, dewormed and  treated with Revolution;  and of course I am spayed.

I am  a  young cat. I don’t remember my birthday so I have to say I am between 1-2 years old. Oh, I finally caught on to “sit-stay”.  I play with my foster sister (she was rescued too). I do like to cuddle and play.

As you can see in the last photo I am waiting for my foster mom to get in with the groceries (I have scared her a few times by getting out but I was trying to help and I did come back because I never ever want to be outside in the cold again).

I really, really want a furever home. I may need some time to readjust because that can be scary and I may hiss at you for a bit (or swat at you) but all I really want is your patience and love. I really need a new home. I will come with things to help me settle in. I think I would like it best if there were no other pets or young children. If you are interested in adopting me, please contact  Central Paws in Grand Falls Windsor or leave a comment on Buddy’s blog. Oh, don’t forget my foster sibling, Momma. She, too, has been waiting a very long time for a home and she is a cuddly , playful cat.

Here’s a picture  of Momma.  Can’t you just tell she’s a fun-loving cat?

I’ll go and sit in my carrier now so I’ll be all ready when  my new family comes to get me.

Doesn’t Franny seem like a wonderful kitty? My mommy got me from Central Paws, too, so I know that Franny is being well cared for. But how I love my new mommy and the man! I hope Franny finds her furever home like I did.

I'd love to hear what you think of this post.
