Foster Cat Chats

Inside Buddy Foster's World

Guest Post of Oliver Thornhill, the Cat, Part 1

As part of Guest Blogger Thursdays I am happy to welcome Oliver the Cat to my blog, Foster Cat Chats.  Oliver was helped in this post by his Great Grand Nanny, Claire Tibbo.  We will be hearing more from Oliver in the future as he continues the story of his life.  Oliver promises to be nice to me, unlike some guest bloggers.

I’ve heard a lot of chatter about the feline Simon and Buddy and their blog and I want to get in on the action. This is my first blog and I don’t want to ruffle any feathers but I have a word or two for Simon. Simon, you chose not to tell your story but look at the rumours you are spreading about adorable Buddy. I would hang off if I were you. I will have more to say about that later.

Now, a bit about who I am. At the age of six weeks I was adopted into a family of five people who reallllly wanted a feline. I was driven home in a car.

Oliver

I was given full access to a four bedroom, two story house and the responsibility of taking care of a big dog.

I don’t know what Simon would think but my family thinks I am adorable. They are really busy so my Great Grand Nanny is helping me with my blog.

Now Simon, don’t get the idea that I’m a tiny kitten because those are just my baby pictures. I’m almost two years old now with lots of stories to tell and I will be keeping an eye on how you treat Buddy too.

Hi, Oliver! My name is Mila. I’m a Princess. So’s my sister, Pickles. We’re happy to meet you! We see that you were very small here. You’re almost as old now as We are but not quite so We could boss you around if We met you in person. We could anyway because we’re Princesses. But We wouldn’t. You have a Very Responsible Position in your house and We believe you to be exceptionally well-qualified to fill it. In fact, my sister says that you’re cute enough to be in charge of everything.
Our Human is whispering in my ear to say that you are “SOOOOO ADORABLE!!!!”
    We concur.
We’re leaving now, Oliver. We hope to see you again and to hear more about your adventures, especially that Large Dog. We appreciate your generosity in sharing your story.
    🙂

    Signed, Princess ♔ Mila
